School Visits

Learn beyond the classroom at the Indian Heritage Centre. Students will have the opportunity to find out more about the culture, traditions and practices of the Indian community in Singapore through our five interactive permanent galleries. They will also have the chance to explore the stories and experiences of early Indian migrants and pioneers, and be inspired by their contributions to the development of Singapore today.

We also offer a wide range of educational workshops for students to learn through interactive learning activities.

PLAN A VISIT

Introducing BookMuseums@SG, a one-stop e-service for teachers to browse our rich programmes offered by the museums and heritage institutions. Visit BookMuseums@SG to book your school's guided/self-guided tours today.

Please note:

i. Teachers are to use their MOE email address and Singpass to login to BookMuseums.

ii. Due to space constraints within IHC's galleries and other school programmes, guided tours and self-guided visits are limited to maximum of 40 students per slot (this does not apply for Museum-Based Learning programme). Thus, schools are recommended to stagger their visits to IHC.

iii. As IHC's Museum-Based Learning programme is compulsory for Primary 5 students, guided tours and self-guided visits are not available for the Primary 5 cohorts.
