Singapore HeritageFest at Indian Heritage Centre


Indian Heritage Centre celebrates Singapore HeritageFest! From 2 to 29 May 2022, pack your bags and buckle up to explore the journeys of Indian communities to and within Singapore while also discovering lesser-known stories about the history and evolution of the Little India precinct. From guided tours and immersive puzzle hunts to hands-on workshops and a variety of digital offerings, join us for fun and engaging programmes specially curated for you! Enjoy free admission on our Open House weekends, 7 – 8 & 14 – 15 May.



IHC Mementos (SHF edition) 

Visitors to IHC will get to create their own miniature versions of two iconic shophouses found in Little India – The former House of Tan Teng Niah and Little India Arcade. Made available in the form of folding kits, visitors can follow the guided instructions on the kit to assemble these two shophouses.

Visitors can pick-up limited-edition postcards at IHC featuring various trades that were once found in Little India during the 1960s, A total of 6 designs will be released over the month. These postcards are designed by James Suresh and Syed Ismail, with the illustrations and write-ups adapted from their picture book Singapore in the 60s.
