Explore the traditional roots of Kalaripayattu in our dynamic 45-minutes junior martial arts workshop!

The workshop will delve into two distinct styles: Vadakan Kalaripayattu (Northern style), Thekan Kalaripayattu (Southern style).

Discover the art of Meipayattu of the Northern style, that emulates animal postures to enhance flexibility and coordination. Learn the art of Chuvadus, a Southern style renowned for its multi-directional attacks and defences, fostering spatial awareness and agility.

No Kalaripayattu training is complete without weapons practice. In the final segment of the workshop, our practitioners will introduce you to Kolthari (wooden weapons) with a focus on the fundamental movements of Kettukari (5-foot wooden staff).
