10am - 6pm
Since opening its doors in 2015, the Indian Heritage Centre (IHC) has grown into a vibrant hub for exhibitions, education, and cultural exchange, celebrating the rich heritage of the Indian community in Singapore and the region.
This year, as we mark our 10th anniversary alongside Singapore’s SG60 celebrations, we are proud to unveil 60 new artefacts — many of which are being showcased to the public for the very first time. This significant refresh is complemented by a special Open House on 10 & 11 May and a year-long line-up of exciting cultural programmes curated for you.

IHC10 HIGHLIGHTS |
Discover New Museum Artefacts As part of the IHC’s 10th anniversary and SG60 celebrations, we are excited to unveil our first major artefact refresh since opening in 2015. In this special milestone year, visitors can look forward to 60 new objects going on display for the first time, with the first set of 30 newly displayed artefacts now showcased in our galleries. Featuring pieces from Singapore’s National Collection and other rare collections, these objects offer new insights into the rich history and culture of the Indian community in Singapore and the region. The first phase of the rotation was launched in March 2025 and focused on galleries 1 and 2 on level 4. The second phase will follow in September 2025 and focus on galleries 3 to 5 on level 3, with more details announced closer to the launch. Download the Artefact Highlights Guide (PDF) here.
